Since August Community Outreach Chair, Terann Carr has delivered a total 132 quilts. MPQG members have been generous with their time and energy in creating these quilts. We support the Monterey Dialysis Center, CASA and the neonatal centers at Natividad, CHOMP, SVMH.
The following note was received from Margaret at MPDC
Dear Terann and fellow quilters:
Once again, you’ve all out done yourselves with all the beautiful quilts you’ve recently donated to our clinic. As I mentioned to Terann, we receive so many heartfelt thank-yous from our patients who feel so blessed to receive this gift. It makes coming to dialysis just a little bit easier, and it is such a lovely way to feel supported by the community. Thanks again for allowing us to be the lucky recipients of your fantastic creative work!! With gratitude, Margaret Blume (social worker @ MPDC)
