The purposes
of the Monterey Peninsula Quilters Guild are: |

| Organized in
1979, MPQG is a non-profit organization with over 250 members involved in many community service projects.
Meetings are held monthly and programs are
always inspiring. June is the Quilt Show
where we hold a drawing for the opportunity
quilt. Proceeds from these events support the guild's wonderful programs and community

| We make quilts in two sizes: small baby quilts for the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit at Natividad Medical Center and adult size lap quilts for the Dialysis Center at Community Hospital of the Monterey Peninsula. We presented over 100 'preemie' quilts and over 50 lap quilts to these groups. | ||||
